Creative Kids is a mobile program that partners with local parks and rec departments, childcare centers and play places to offer unique fun and engaging weekday classes, weekend events, parties and camp events for kids in Fairfield County!

Fall 2026, Session 1: Community Helpers!
Class: Community Helpers Club
Location: Rainbow Lane in Newtown, CT
When: 9/21-10/26 10:00-11:30am $150 for all 5 weeks, or $35 for drop-in classes
Ages: 1-2
Community Helpers Club: Little hands, big jobs! Each week, little helpers will discover a new hands-on activity inspired by a different community helper! We’ll cook, create, build, experiment, and play as we learn about the people who help our community. Please dress for mess. Every class includes one hour of open play in the play space!

Location: Read Play Love in Fairfield, CT
When: 9/8-9/29 10:30 - 11:30am $140 for 4 weeks
Ages: 2-5
Grab your goggles and join us in the lab as we explore different community helpers through science and sensory play! Each week we will read a story about a different community helper, then children will conduct a hands-on science experiment based on the book. After that, the fun continues with a variety of related sensory activities and process art, as well as play in the play space! Please dress for mess.

Ages: Grades K-2
Each week, we'll explore a different community helper by preparing and enjoying two themed snacks, in addition to creating a recipe book and enjoying sensory activities. It's the perfect mix of cooking (without an oven) and creativity! No nuts or artificial dyes used.

End of Summer Science & Sensory

Birthday Parties
Looking to add sensory activities, cooking (without an oven), STEM, art or goody bags to your next birthday party? Tell me your activity and theme, and I will take care of the rest (most importantly, set up and clean up!)
$275 for 1.5 hours of themed sensory play (there is an extra charge if you would like to add STEM or cooking)
Add $50 for goody bags up for up to 12 kids

Hi! I’m Jess, a certified former teacher with over 20 years of experience in preschool and elementary school. I started this company in the summer of 2025 with the goal of taking my teaching experience and love of working with children and combining it with something every child needs – learning that is hands-on, creative, messy and fun! As a working mom, I also recognize the importance of having a space for kids to get messy that is not in the house (and no parent cleanup required)! I incorporate art and sensory play into everything I do, because learning truly is more powerful when it’s playful! I am so thankful to family and friends for all of their support on this exciting new adventure, and I hope you find something here for you and your family to enjoy!
